I remember 35 years ago, living in Seattle, listening to the mayor at the time talk about housing like this. How important it was to create cluster villages (my term). This was the housing of the future. I immediately knew - in my young adult years - that this kind of living was utterly contrary to the needs of the human spirit. We need QUIET. Space. And the last thing this city needs is more over-priced clusters of chaos. And let me guess: they were built during the rain using substandard, cheap particle board that will bring its own set of problems 3-5 years or so down the road.
