No they can’t make the SDC fees go away, you are right, they actually serve an important purpose to fund transportation projects. Especially with all the large developments coming soon, ones that will add stress to the system. But they can ammend it. 100%. They can ammend it to protect small businesses, like food carts, businesses that might not be adding stress, businesses that are trying to build community, new businesses that can’t afford the barrier to entry.

City Council can’t just waive a magic wand and make that go away.
