We Looked At The Top Airbnb's in Corvallis...
Here is what we came up with.
As short-term rentals continue to grow, visitors aren’t just booking places to sleep, they’re choosing experiences. Not that Corvallis is a huge destination spot, and we probably get passed over “on the way to the coast,” but tourism still plays a part in our economy, and families need places to stay when visiting students.
There are more than 200+ active listings on Airbnb in Corvallis. Honestly, this wasn’t as exciting as we thought it was going to be. No castles, no treehouses, no secret passageways. We probably shouldn’t even post this. Sad face. Maybe the rental market here isn’t that great, or people don’t like to rent out their homes here? Or maybe that’s the interesting part? Sigh.
Anyways, here are the most “interesting” options we found. This took some time. And we ended up finding a few.
Lookout - epic views, close to OSU, quiet
This one offers a fully private lower-level living space, and guests get an entire self-contained setup with multiple bedrooms, a living area, and everything needed to settle in. It also has a piano, if you’re into that.
We’ll do an investigative report on the bathroom wallpaper. Or wait, is that just unfinished walls, with seams and patchwork? Or is that the wallpaper? We are on it.

Stylish Home Near OSU, Wineries & Scenic Trails
Winner winner chicken dinner. Someone put some love into this place AND has a design sense. Not to mention a large (but tasteful) cat painting over the bed. Nothing to hate here. If we ranked the best, this would be #1. But we don’t do opinion pieces.

Cozy retreat, King suite, campus close
This place has a little bit of everything. A gorgeous sliding door to an outdoor setting in the bedroom, free pretzels, and a two-color, evenly divided abstract art piece that, if you stared at it too long, might start judging you. Cozy, great lighting, and a fun courtyard.

Freya's Gypsy Caravan
Now we have something. Better than a castle. Freya, thank you. We’ll drive to Eugene for Oregon Country Fair, but we’ll drive back and stay here to keep the experience going. Taking back our previous winner prize. It happens. Second place is still pretty good. There are over 200 listings.

TimberHill, LuxSuite, Garden, SPA, Super clean
Japanese rock garden? SPA? Is that a Koi pond? We’ve never been to Timberhill (see donation link at the bottom of the page), but if we did, this is where we’d stay. We’ll leave the cat and fishing pole at home… this time. Seriously, only 4.81 stars? There is always that person.

Eco-Glamping cabin tent with hot tub, power
Yeah, you read that right. You can charge your phone. It’s not down by the river, but it does have a hot tub. So use your imagination. Really, really appreciate the photo with snow on the ground. Ladies and gentlemen, we are not in Bend anymore. We see your knee!
