Corvallis Arts Walk Returns April 16 With Citywide Art, Music, and Poetry
Weekdays can be tough for some, but a grassroots weekend art event follows
What a great day coming up for art in Corvallis. Holding the Arts Walk on a Thursday however, is questionable. Why not a weekend day? It would make it more accessible to a wider audience. Weeknights can be tough for those with work schedules, families, or limited evening availability.
Weekends often have fewer time constraints, visitors are more likely to stay longer, explore more venues, and bring friends or family along… ultimately increasing foot traffic, artist exposure, and overall community participation. Which is what we want.
Anyways, downtown will transform into a walking gallery on Thursday, April 16, as the Corvallis Arts Walk brings together local artists, galleries, and creative spaces for an evening of community and culture.
Held every third Thursday, the Arts Walk invites residents to explore rotating exhibits, meet artists, and experience everything from painting and sculpture to live music and interactive events. With most stops clustered downtown, it’s an easy, self-guided way to experience the city’s art scene.

Missed It? Grassroots Studio Tour Follows April 18–19
If you can’t make Thursday night’s Arts Walk, a grassroots alternative offers a deeper dive into the local art scene over the weekend: Northside Open Studios Tour Open Artist Studios
10:00am – 4:00pm (April 18–19) - North Corvallis locations - https://www.nost-art.com/
The Northside Open Studios Tour (NOST) features more than 40 local artists across multiple home studios and creative spaces. Organized by artists themselves, the event gives visitors a behind-the-scenes look at the creative process, something you won’t find in a traditional gallery setting.
A Full Week(end) of Local Art
Together, these events offer two distinct ways to experience our art scene: a lively, walkable downtown showcase on Thursday, followed by a more intimate, artist-led studio tour over the weekend. It’s a full stretch of local creativity, mostly free and open to anyone who wants to take part.
