March 11th
Littering / Criminal Trespass- An employee called to report individuals camping in a building alcove in the 500-block of SW Madison Ave and requested they be trespassed. Two officers arrived at the location and contacted three subjects. Two of the subjects were cooperative, gathered their belongings, and left the area. The third subject, a 44-year-old female, no fixed address, refused to cooperate and repeatedly threatened and charged at one of the officers. The female was taken into custody and transported to the Law Enforcement Center where she was issued a citation.
Loud Noise- A police officer observed a 44-year-old female, no fixed address, screaming and yelling for no communicative purpose in the 100-block of NW 5th St. The officer stopped the female, issued her a citation for Loud Noise, and released her.
Possession of a Controlled Substance (Fentanyl) / Warrant Arrest- An officer was on patrol when they contacted a 29-year-old male, no fixed address, in Pioneer Park. During the contact, the officer learned the male had a warrant for his arrest. The male was arrested and during the search the officer found fentanyl in the male’s possession. The male was arrested and booked into jail.
Depositing Garbage within 100 Yards of a Waterway / Warrant Arrest- Officers were patrolling Pioneer Park when they contacted a 39-year-old male and a 36-year-old female, both no fixed address, who had trash within 100 yards of a waterway. During the contact, officers also learned both subjects had warrants for their arrest. Both were arrested, and the female was booked into jail while the male was issued citations and released.
Warrant Arrest- A 34-year-old male, Salem resident, turned himself in at the Law Enforcement Center for a warrant. He was issued a citation and released.
Violation of Order- Officers contacted a caller in the 1400-block of SE Crystal Lake Dr who reported a person they had a no contact order against made online posts about them. Based on the specific circumstances of the evidentiary information, probable cause was not gained for enforcement action.
Theft- Officers responded to a business in the 900-block of NW Circle Blvd for a cooperative shoplifter who was detained by loss prevention staff. The 50-year-old female, Albany resident, was issued a criminal citation and released.
Disorderly Conduct II / Criminal Trespass II- Officers responded to the 400-block of SW 2nd St for a report of a male swinging a golf club and threatening a person in a work van before leaving the area. Officers located and detained the male suspect in the parking lot of a business in the 400-block of SW 3rd St. Investigation determined probable cause existed to arrest the 45-year-old male, no fixed address, for Disorderly Conduct II and Criminal Trespass II, as he was trespassed from the business where officers located him. Officers were unable to contact the person in the work van and only spoke to witness callers. The male was transported to the Law Enforcement Center where he was released on criminal citations.
Trespass- Officers responded to a facility in the 1100-block of NW Jackson Ave for a report of a 36-year-old female, Corvallis resident, who had returned after being previously “banned” and was yelling and swearing. The female was issued a Trespass Notice and left.
Threats- Officers contacted a resident in the 700-block of SW 7th St who reported receiving electronic messages they perceived as threatening over the weekend. A case number was taken for documentation, but no probable cause for enforcement action was gained.
Warrant Arrest / Possession of a Controlled Substance (Methamphetamine)- A 50-year-old male, no fixed address, was contacted in the 900-block of SW Washington Ave after he was reported to be looking into vehicles. The male was contacted by officers in the area and found to have a warrant for his arrest. Officers took him into custody for the warrant and found methamphetamine in his possession. The male was transported to the jail.
Warrant Arrest- A 39-year-old male, no fixed address, was arrested on multiple outstanding warrants in the 300-block of SW Madison Ave. He was booked into the jail.
Trespass- A 44-year-old female, no fixed address, was contacted at a business in the 500-block of SW Madison Ave. The female had been trespassed from the location previously. When contacted by officers, the female refused to leave. She was arrested and booked into the jail.
Minor in Possession (Marijuana)- An officer contacted a vehicle in the 1300-block of NW 9th St. The occupants, all of whom were under 21 years old, admitted to smoking marijuana, and relinquished the marijuana products they had. They were issued citations for MIP-Marijuana.
Suspicious Circumstances- Officers responded to an apartment in the 900-block of NW Hobart Ave for a report of a trespass or possible burglary. The property management reported screens had been removed from a vacant unit, and a light was on inside. The prior tenants were not supposed to be there, and no one was supposed to be inside. Officers entered the apartment and found no one inside. Case taken for documentation.
March 10th
Disorderly Conduct II- An employee called from the Corvallis Municipal Court to report a subject locked in the bathroom, screaming and yelling for the past ten minutes. Officers arrived at the Court and contacted a 32-year-old male, Corvallis resident, inside the bathroom. He was arrested and booked into jail.
Warrant Arrest- A subject came to the Law Enforcement Center and had a warrant for their arrest. An officer contacted the subject and identified him as a 20-year-old male, Albany resident. The male was issued a citation for the warrant and released.
Unauthorized Entry into a Motor Vehicle- Caller reported their vehicle was broken into while parked outside of their place of employment in the 900-block of NW 9th St. Multiple tools were stolen from the vehicle.
Warrant Arrest- A 54-year-old male, no fixed address, was contacted in the 800-block of NW Monroe Ave. The male had a warrant for his arrest and was issued a citation in lieu of custody.
Trespass- Caller reported there was a male outside their business in the 400-block of SW Western Blvd who was refusing to leave. The suspect was identified as a 47-year-old male, no fixed address, who had been previously trespassed from the business. The male was issued a criminal citation for Trespass II.
Shoplift- Caller reported an unknown male stole merchandise from their business in the 1700-block of NE Four Acre Pl. The suspect left the area on foot and was not located.
Trespass- A 39-year-old male, no fixed address, was taken into custody for trespass after he returned to a property in the 900-block of NW Hobart Ave from which he had been previously trespassed. He was transported to the Law Enforcement Center and released on a citation.
Disorderly Conduct / Resisting Arrest- A 42-year-old female, no fixed address, was taken into custody near the intersection of NW 1st St and NW Van Buren Ave after she was reportedly swinging a golf club at cars as they passed by. She was placed in a WRAP restraint device and transported to the hospital for clearance, then booked at the jail.
Unauthorized Entry into a Motor Vehicle- A 28-year-old male, Corvallis resident, was taken into custody for UEMV after a resident in the 400-block of SW 6th St reported the male attempted to enter her car. The male was booked at the jail.
March 9th
Arson- A portable toilet at a park in the 600-block of NW Monroe Ave was found engulfed in flames and was a total loss. Personal belongings inside the toilet were also consumed by the fire. Cause is currently unknown.
Trespass / Warrant Arrest- Officers responded to a disturbance in the 600-block of NW Monroe Ave. A 41-year-old female, no fixed address, was causing a disturbance in a City building. She was contacted and found to have an active warrant. The female was taken into custody and transported to the jail. She was also trespassed from the library.
March 8th
Trespass- Officers responded to a business in the 2300-block of NW Kings Blvd for a report of a trespass. A 62-year-old female, no fixed address, had returned to the business after being previously trespassed. The female was taken into custody and transported to the Law Enforcement Center where she was cited for Criminal Trespass.
Trespass- Officers responded to a business in the 400-block of SW Madison Ave for a report of a trespass. A 30-year-old male, no fixed address, returned to a business from which he had been previously trespassed and was causing a scene. The male was cited for Criminal Trespass.
Attempted Assault- Officers responded to the area of NW Monroe Ave and NW Kings Blvd after a witness reported observing a male assaulting another male while he exited the bus. A 55-year-old male, no fixed address, was located and taken into custody.
Trespass- An officer was dispatched to the 400-block of NW 2nd St for a welfare check. A 67-year-old male, Philomath resident, called dispatch because he was concerned about a female who was staying at the hotel, whom he had not heard from in a few days. The officer contacted the female, and she was fine, but hotel staff advised they wanted the male caller trespassed due to him standing outside the female’s room for the last few days. The male and female are currently going through a breakup. The male was trespassed from the location.
Warrant Arrest- A 49-year-old female, no fixed address, was cited on several active warrants after being contacted in an alley in the 400-block of SW Monroe Ave.
Warrant Arrest- A 44-year-old female, no fixed address, was cited on several active warrants after being contacted on a noise complaint in the 500-block of SW Madison Ave.
Warrant Arrest- A 64-year-old male, Lebanon resident, was cited on two active warrants after being contacted on a trespass complaint at a medical facility in the 3600-block of NW Samaritan Dr.
March 7th
Warrant Arrest- A 32-year-old female, no fixed address, was contacted in the 100-block of SW 2nd St on an unrelated call for service. While in contact with the female, officers learned she had a warrant for her arrest. The female was issued a citation in lieu of custody.
Unlawful Entry into a Motor Vehicle- Officers contacted a resident in the 400-block of NW 26th St who reported their rear window of their vehicle was broken out overnight and property was stolen from within.
Domestic Disturbance- Officers responded to the 1700-block of NW 9th St for a report of a male and female who were screaming at each other, and the male was reported to be throwing items at the female. The female was located, and the male was not. The female party denied any physical altercation and anything being thrown at her.
Trespass- Officers responded to a business in the 400-block of SW 4th St for a report of a male setting up camp outside the front door. Two 47-year-old males, both no fixed address, were located setting up camp. The left when asked and were issued Trespass Notices at the request of the business.
Theft- Officers took a report of a theft of a license plate which occurred the night before in the 300-block of SW Madison Ave.
Trespass- Officers responded to a business in the 300-block of SW Madison Ave for a report of a 53-year-old male, Corvallis resident, who was outside of the business yelling. The male was issued a Trespass Notice from the business.
Theft- Officers responded to a business in the 5200-block of SW Philomath Blvd for a report of a group of intoxicated people who entered the business, grabbed a broom and began knocking over merchandise before stealing a wreath and leaving.
Theft- An officer took a report of a theft at a business in the 200-block of SW 2nd St. An unknown suspect stole a table from outside the business.
Motor Vehicle Collision (Non-Injury)- Officers responded to SW Philomath Blvd and SW Western Blvd for a non-injury crash. The driver of the at-fault vehicle was issued a citation for failure to yield right of way when merging.
Special Response Notice- Officers responded to a loud noise complaint in the 3600-block of NW Tyler Pl. An SRN was issued for Unlawful Amplified Sound.
Minor in Possession (Marijuana)- An officer contacted an occupied vehicle in the park in the 100-block of SE Fischer Ln. There were four occupants of the vehicle, all of whom were under 21. They admitted to smoking marijuana and had a small bag of psilocybin mushrooms. They voluntarily relinquished the items, and the stop was treated as an educational encounter due to their cooperation and compliance. The items were entered for destruction.
Special Response Notice- An officer responded to a loud party in the 600-block of NW 23rd St. An SRN was issued for Unlawful Amplified Sound.
Theft- Officers responded to a bar in the 100-block of SW 2nd St for what was initially reported to be a stolen vehicle. The vehicle that was reportedly stolen was still present at the scene, however, the caller reported her purse had been stolen. No suspects at this time.
Driving While Under the Influence of Intoxicants- Officers responded to a report of a vehicle crash at NW Van Buren Ave and NW Kings Blvd. The driver, a 28-year-old female, Corvallis resident, performed SFSTs and was ultimately arrested for DUII.
March 6th
Trespass- Officers responded to the 1300-block of NW 9th St for a report of a female who was refusing to leave a business after causing a disturbance. The suspect, a 62-year-old female, no fixed address, was arrested for Criminal Trespass II and cited in lieu of custody.
Disorderly Conduct- Officers responded to the 200-block of NW 6th St for a report of a fight in progress involving two males. A 47-year-old male, no fixed address, was arrested for Disorderly Conduct II. The male was transported to the jail.
Fraudulent Use of a Credit Card- Officers contacted a residence in the 6200-block of SW Trellis Dr for a report of a credit card which was used in multiple fraudulent transactions.
Warrant Arrest- Officers performed a traffic stop in the 1600-block of NW 9th St. The driver, a 76-year-old female, Albany resident, was the subject of an active warrant. She was issued a criminal citation and released.
Failure to Register as a Sex Offender- Officers responded to an attempt to locate on a vehicle which was reported as speeding and almost hitting pedestrians in the crosswalk near the intersection of SW 3rd St and SW Avery Dr. The vehicle was later located in a parking lot in the area, and the driver was identified as a 31-year-old male, no fixed address. During the contact it was learned he was non-compliant with his sex offender registry. He was issued a criminal citation and released.
Warrant Arrest- Officers contacted a 42-year-old female, Albany resident, in the 2300-block of NW 9th St who was the subject of an active warrant. She was issued a criminal citation and released.
Minor in Possession of Alcohol- An officer stopped a vehicle in the 1000-block of NW Harrison Blvd. Four males were intoxicated in the back seat, all of whom were under 21 years of age. They were issued citations for MIP-Alcohol.
Unauthorized Entry into a Motor Vehicle- Officers responded to the 2700-block of NW Tyler Ave for a report of a UEMV in progress. The caller reported seeing three males enter a parked vehicle and attempt to enter a second parked vehicle. Officers searched the area and were unable to locate the suspects.
Trespass- Two 47-year-old males, both no fixed address, were trespassed from a business in the 400-block of NW Monroe Ave.
Theft / Resisting Arrest / Interfering with a Peace Officer / Possession of a Controlled Substance (Methamphetamine)- An officer stopped a cyclist near SW 5th St and SW Jefferson Ave for a violation. The officer recognized the bike the male was riding on as being stolen earlier in the week. The serial number on the bike matched the stolen record as well. The male physically resisted being taken into custody. After a short struggle, the male was taken into custody and taken to the jail. While searching the male before the jail booking, officers also located used methamphetamine paraphernalia.
