City of Corvallis Announces Return of Two Community Grant Programs
Empowerment Grant Program | Green Grant Program
Corvallis, OR — Two local funding programs are reopening to support grassroots projects and community priorities in Corvallis this spring. Applications for both the Empowerment Grant Program and the Green Grant Program open March 1 and will be accepted through March 31, 2026.
The Empowerment Grant Program offers small cash awards to help fund neighborhood‐driven initiatives that enhance community life and strengthen partnerships. Past projects supported through this fund have included everything from community art installations and landscape improvements to neighborhood social events and education programs.
The Green Grant Program focuses on environmental action, providing funding for community-centered efforts that advance climate goals outlined in the Corvallis Climate Action Plan. Projects that address climate change, promote sustainability, or encourage community engagement around environmental stewardship are eligible.
Both programs are competitive, with distinct objectives and evaluation criteria. To help prospective applicants, the City is offering an informational Zoom session at 5:15 p.m. on Tuesday, March 17, which will also be recorded for later viewing.
